‘SIT’ is a cafe from Baba’s Place Pty Ltd. It was built in collaboration with Fresh Hope Communities, a NFP organisation, and it is located at the ground floor of a Nightingale affordable housing precinct in Marrickville.
So what is SIT? It is a cafe focusing on sustainable, seasonal and thoughtful offerings with a multi-functional space committed to fostering community and knowledge sharing. SIT is a soft, but firm command to become sedentary. Why? Because sitting & sharing moments is pivotal to a version of suburban, communal life we’d like to romanticize AND practically apply.
From the start, SIT will provide an exemplary F&B service to consumers AND offer itself as a place in which collaboration, ideas & community can grow.
